First of all the leisure battery should be enclosed in a box sealed from the interior and vented to the exterior.
You would then need a 12 volt consumer unit and charger, these are very often referred to as Zig units although they are not all made by Zig (bit like a hoover ). The more popular Zig unit is the CF9 or CF9B these have a built in transformer to charge the leisure battery and supply 12 volts to power lighting, water pump, electric loos and electronic fridge ignition in conjunction with the leisure battery.
The CF9 range has switches to select battery power from car or leisure battery, to switch the leisure supply on, to switch the 230v supply on (this has an additional 230v output to feed the fridge if needed) and a switch to switch on the charger/12v supply. There are 3 fused 12 volt feeds from it (I've used them as lighting - pumps - 12 volt sockets before)
12v connections are via a terminal strip on the back - usually marked, and includes 12v feed from car, 12v feed to/from leisure battery, 12v fridge input and output to feed the supply through a dedicated fuse. 230 volt input is via a fitted cable, output for the fridge is via a kettle plug type socket (female of course - you will need a male plug if one isn't supplied0

What caravan do you have & what yr? does it have a transformer to run the 12v circuit, interior lights, water pump, radio etc? It is possible to install a leisure battery charged thru pin4 on 12s plug, permanent power supply & earthed thru pin3 as done on old UK supplied Eribas.
This will charge battery from car while towing but not while on ehu & is the cheaper alternative to fitting a zig type charger.
To do either of these you need an understanding of what you are actually doing & the ability to use tools/make electrical connections.
