I just thought I would share this with you.It might not apply to a new caravan.
I bought a Blender valve off ebay for 10 pounds, which for those of you who don't know what they are ,they are set to 41 degrees from the factory although you can adjust them and relock the new temp. They are used in schools and old peoples homes to prevent scalding .all I done was cut the hot and cold pipes under the sink and put two "T" pieces in ,then put one hot and one cold pipe to the blender valve ,then a pipe from the blender which is then mixed to a simple on/off valve then to the shower head.
The result is turn on the valve and the temperature is perfect and as the hot water cools it automatically directs more from the hot side as it tries to hold the same temperature,in the event the cold supply fails it switches off in under three seconds which is what it is designed to do to prevent scalding .No more trying to wiggle the taps to get the right temp and wasting water.Anyway I tried it out as an experiment and I am over the moon with the results ,so i thought i would share this with you all .
