We would love a Silver but sadly not enough pennies for one - retired now!
The Fleurette 31T (same as the Trigano 310) is the narrow one that we have. We have an entrance to our back garden at the end of a narrow alleyway & we can get it around the turn at the start of the alley with a bit of manoeuvre, once it's down by our back gate we push it into the garden, they are very easy to move even for 60+'s like us.
It's around 1.8m wide & 4.80m long including the draw-bar.
We tow with a 1.5 diesel Micra & originally had a 1.2 petrol Micra, both of these tow fine. We changed the petrol for the diesel on an upgrade as OH tows a trailer & the diesel has a bit more oomph! The max. weight is 750kg & the unladen weight is 610kg, therefore the payload is 140kg.
We had a f/c which we bought new (& hated, long story!)& traded it in 2 years ago for our first Fleurette, this was a revelation for us. We have just changed our original van for another of the same size & age with a slightly different layout. Our original is at present on the Campers & Leisure website for £7495, its the 1999 Fleurette Tamaris 31T, so the answer is yes, you should be able to get a good used van for under £8000.
We have a hob & grill (no grill in the continental spec, but a larger fridge), fridge of course, electric flush Thetford loo, washbasin with running hot water, hot water to the sink in the kitchen & we have blown air heating in this new van (but not in our previous one), we used a mini oil filled radiator & were cosy & warm.
The pop-top goes up literally in seconds.
We can't recommend these vans highly enough, if you want a van for two people that's easy to tow & store then these are the bees knees!
We do have an awning, if you consider buying a Fleurette try to get one with an awning if you can, they're not that easy to come by & are pricey new.
Hope this helps, happy to answer any other queries you might have.
