Well as many may have done before. I went to the NEC on Tuesday looking to buy new. Thought it would be a Adria or a Sprite, but settled on a special ed Charisma!

That wasn't on my shopping list but we stumbled upon it just wondering around the various makes and dealers and both liked it.

After much consideration and measuring the drive, even to the point of drawing it out on graph paper, we decided to go for it today. Put a deposit down this afternoon, for a March Delivery.

Its the 4 berh fixed bed Corniche.

Really Excited

Enjoy that new van smell.

We got ours new in 2005 and still remember that very special feeling.

After reading some threads on here not so favourable about them, was not so good.

But you get good/bad everywhere. They got voted "What Caravan" dealer of the year 2009, so some folks were obviously very happy with them. I hope this is the case for me when the time comes.

We ordered our first new van at the NEC in October 2006.  We walked out of there feeling 10ft tall and the excitement just built up and up until we took delivery in January 2007.

The new smell, removing the tags on all the furnishings, taking it on to a site for the first time - it is sooooo exciting.

Here's hoping you will have lots of memorable holidays in your new second home.

We bought another new van eariler this year - but it just isn't quite the same buzz second time around!

I know its all too exciting for me!
