Just browsing the vans for sale and the very first one listed by a member that joined today is a 2007 Globestar for 4.5k.I wonder should there be a figure 1 in front of the price. The Globestar is a T/A top of the range model and at 3 years old for that price it's gotta be the bargain of the century, OR could the ebay scammers have found their way here ? Webby/Ratty might.-like to have a look at this advert!!! Mick
Easy enough to find out. If they want payment up front & delivery after that then its a scam. If they want you to meet them someplace with cash in your pocket then its a setup for a mugging.

Blimey Tentz. Are you the over-cautious type? I reckon it's a typo. And I'm very naive.
I don't see how you can be overcautious if you are handing over £1000s in a private sale. Just common sense tho. Buy a caravan from the owners's home after checking it is his to sell. Pay cash & tow away.
Any situation where at some point either buyer or seller is in possession of both caravan & money is potentially dodgy. As is walking into an unknown situation with £1000s in your pocket.
