ooh! now you're back at camp, I have to keep checking for the next day's adventures!  Porch awning looks very smart!

The above is then repeated throughout the day- in between 'other things'!!

Looks like I've set myself a task now - I'll have to keep writing so I don't keep people waiting for the next bit! lol

I'm having a couple of nights off now though - taking a friend and her daughter to Blackpool lights tonight and going to my son's bonfire tomorrow night.

And as for the porch awning - it got bundled up and put in the garage and it'll probably never see daylight again. You'll find out why soon!

We shall let you have some 'time off'!!

Hmmm..... you've been very kind in that latest bit!  It should really read 'after several attempts at reversing the caravan we ended up unhitching & pushing it the last few yards onto the pitch'   It was my 1st ever attempt at reversing tho

Enjoy your couple of days off & then we want to hear why that lovely porch awning is now permanently confined to the garage.  What did it do to make you hate it so much?!

Tbh I found it wasn't big enough! With the caravan table, one chair and the dog's beanbag beds in there wasn't much room left. And it doesn't need repairing, it leaked because of the way it's designed at the front - in fine weather it would be ok but it can't cope with torrential rain.
