 I Have recently purchased a second hand te remote control as a spare for my motor movers,does anyone have any idea or instructions how to get it to work with my control box.

might be wrong. but in the control box there are little black switches, These need to be in the same position as the switches in the remote.

Can you explain - Is it a 'te' remote which I have never heard of.

Is your mover a Truma with a Truma remote in which case - why do you want a spare remote.

I cannot imagine that a non- Truma remote would work with a Truma mover.

Correct me if I am wrong or missing something.

I think the OP means he has a Truma TE Mover and has purchased a second hand remote for that model in order to have a spare.

The Truma TE is a 2 wheel mover for twin axle caravans, it has electric powered engagement. Hence....TE.

Have you got the instruction/installation booklet that came with the mover? There are precise instructions in it. If necessary, you should be able to download the instructions from the Truma website. It is quite complicated!

Unfortunately the website seems to be down right now, I will see if I can find an alternative and post a link.

However, it is not clear from the instructions whether it is actually possible to have 2 remotes synchronised with the control box at the same time, if that is what you are trying to do.

Remotes give out different signals, when you 'pair' a remote the control scans for the remote and locks on, there are 32000 signals stored on the control !

So it is highly unlikely the 'spare' will use the same signal, the control will only work with one signal at a time, therefore, to change over you will need to pair the spare and loose the use of the original and visa-versa.

Sorry, I've no idea how the pairing is performed on the latest Truma movers
