Lovely van, lovely awning, lovely site & lovely dogs!  Sounds like you're well & truly hooked - hope you enjoy many, many more stress-free breaks.  That's what it's all about.

We had a few minor hiccups over the weekend which we put down to being novices, we ran out of flush water for the toilet a couple of times (needed to put more water in initially), we ran out of water for the sink a couple of times, didn't realise how quickly you can get through 50ltrs of water (next time we'll take a whale tap connector), we got too hot during the first evening (was roasting) so turned everything right down and got it to a nice ambient 20 after throwing open all the windows - can definately say the heater works lol!
Glad everything worked out really well.  All looks lovely.  If we run out of flush water during the night, I use the little cup the Bailey supply for toothbrushes (?) - we keep our battery toothbrushes on the shelf.  Fill it with water from the tap and use that in the loo - swish it around - it does until the morning.

oooooh Woofers. Congrats on a lovely weekend in the new van, it looks so much better now its set up & the "woofers" look like theyve enjoyed it too, bet they can't believe there luck having the heating on all night.

Glad you got an awning sorted, what did you think of it? Good choive, we love both our venturas (porch & full) & would recommend them to anyone.

Hope you have some lovely times in the new van & maybe popping round to have a nosey at pilaton.  Theres no excuse now for a full year of camping.

The awning was excellent - thanks for the recommendation Grumble!  We are very happy with it :)

Very nice Woofs, so glad for you both. If you miss the BL to much you can always sit out in the awning. Love the pictures of Max

The awnings our substitute tent aswell. Kids think we're mad when we sit in the awning when it's freezing but we love it. Suppose you never really get out of the cosy feeling of canvas
You're welcome about the recommendation, glad you like it.

running out of water is as you say a minor hiccup but youll soon overcome this problem by finding the best time to refil... we all do things at differant times of the day so filling your water can be done to suit..

I personally do all my water in the morning any water left in aquaroll goes in the flush tank and start each day with fresh water and look to refil just before dark as like you say its suprising how much water you get through.
