We were due to try out our new to us caravan today and tomorrow, but getting it out of storage would be hazardous to one's health as the road to the site up an incline is like ice adn very slippery.
Decided better to cancel than to risk it so stuck at home for another few days!

We were due to be away to the Edinburgh CC site this weekend - however we have over a foot of snow lying on our drive (probably nearer two), the main road outside our house has been white for two days so no go even although its only 20 miles to the site.

Not a lot we can do about it though!

supposed to pick my new van up on friday from discover. think not, no way am i driving to cornwall in this lot.so they will have to keep hold of it.

Thought we had our van from far enough away - (Polesworth, Nr Tamworth to Dorchester, Dorset), but Bolton to Cornwall even beats us! Is it from Penrose, Bill? If the weather had been a little better you could have had a few days down there in it. Enjoy the new van when it comes.

Tried to get to the farm site where my van is stored earlier today but got stuck in the lanes on way, sheet ice with snow on top!

Due to be at The Old Oaks near Glastonbury for the weekend, doesn't look very likely.

We where going to our local DA but they cancelled which makes it even better you dont have to make the decision
