Just a cautionary tale folks. Having bought the magazine for quite some time I thought I may as well subscribe to take advantage of the offers that keep popping up. You may be thinking of doing the same, perhaps as a Christmas present for someone.

Anyway, subscribing on line doesn't work. Following the links etc I subscribed to IPC and nothing happened. When I checked with IPC they advised that they no longer publish the magazine but that Warners Group now do it. IPC have just not changed their web site, nor the leaflets they issue seeking subscribers to the magazine and so are drawing applications to themselves and then ignoring them.

Anyway, IPC said that they would forward my application on to Warners. They haven't. So if you are subscribing on line and the link is to IPC don't expect anything for Christmas!!!!

If anyone is having similar problems I can post an email address for Warners to get it sorted out.

My contact is Collette. She very kindly takes the subs application over the phone. Best to mention that you have applied on line to IPC. Maybe even ask your Bank to block any payments to IPC just in case

IPC should transfer whatever money they get to Warners. Mind you they didn't transfer anything from me to Warners. Fortunately they have not taken any money. Shouldn't life be simple. Is it the 21st century?
