Looks like anyone wanting to book more than one site on the 8th of December will have a long day,i have just been looking for the time you can log on and they say that you can only book one site at a time and then you will be put back in the holding area until you get another free slot.

As we only want one very popular site at a busy time and not too bothered if we don't get it we will not be hanging around too long to book.

Maybe this will stop people booking up for all weekends and hopefully it will give more people a chance to book a 'popular' site that has previously been not available to many.

I hope this improves things!

As stated above i only want to book one site at this time, hope i'm successful!

I personally think they should take deposits as this would stop people booking slots that they have no intention of using. I've only just joined the club but have noticed loads of sites booked up over xmas and i'm sure a percentage of these people will not turn up....

Annoys me that people can be so selfish....

I am now a member of both clubs to have access to all CL's and CS's. From previous experience was not expecting to get a "popular" CC site as can only go weekends and school holidays. Having read about the changes the CC have made I think it's a great improvement and will help make things fairer.

The waiting in line to make a booking and then going to the back will not only give more people a chance but will also ease loading on web site and should help avoid crashes.

They have also changed their T&C's requesting a minimum of three days notice of cancellation and will monitor this and also those that make a large number of bookings that are later cancelled. If they do this and carry out the sanctions for abuse things should get better. Still wont be able to stop popular sites filling early though.

The C&CC have also changed their booking t&c's, still 25% or a minimum of £25 deposit but this is refundable if you give a least 7 days notice so the two Club systems are a lot closer now.

 there will still be the better of who will still make there 12+ bookings at the beginning of the season and wont mind shelling out deposit's to guarantee a pitch which will leave the less affluent at a disadvantage

If there are people out there that cannot find £300 to book their 12 avanced bookings, I would suggest that they can't afford 12 weekend away anyway.

It's Southland on IOW.  Don't know if it's one of the more popular ones?  Only just joined CC so not had to use their booking system before.
