Could not get on this morning after half an hour so i went to work to earn some pennys,no problem at tea time booked what we wanted while i ate my fish and chips.

Kids washing up,just the dog to take out and day sorted.

Sounds like its gone better this year,hope everyone got their dates.

Got me Southland booked for August at about 5 this afternoon and just booked Ferry Meadows for Easter. No problems, took trying a few different sites before I found one with a pitch over Easter but like the sound of the one I got and not too far from home so should be good for the weekend.

I logged on at 10pm, no holding page then, booked my 3 sites with no problem. Off to think about some others in between now.

There has been an increase in fees for 2011 but maybe concern should be balanced against the period of time over which there has not been an increase or just small increases. The CC say that the increase is the first significant increase in site fees for three years, with fees for some sites having even remained static or reduced in recent years.

Then the CC is subject to the same increases as we are such as the price of electricity and fuel, plus the VAT increase. I understand that Child fees, (5-17 year olds) have been frozen apart from the VAT increase.

Could not get on in the morning so booked a CCC site for Whit weekend, logged on straight away in the evening on home PC! Seems better!

frustrating two hours to book on but a much fairer system when you can only book one site or holiday.gives everyone a chance.

Yes, it seems to be about 8%, not including the vat rise. the reason being that they didn't increase it enough in the past few years. I wish my pension had gone up by 8%, this year it was precisly zilch.

i was told the best way to get on rowntree park is phone the site each night and hope somebody cancels he even used to phone on a friday ; bit of a pain but it worked for him . i just book on naburn lock campsite 10 min bus ride to york .
