I have a Bailey Bordeaux which is an end bed model. I was wondering if it is at all possible to fit a bike carrier to the rear of the van similar to the Fiamma bike carriers that you see fitted to motor homes. It would be great if I could get rid of the roof bike carriers in favour of a rear carrier on the van which could permanently home one of my bike while in storage.
thanks

i have seen two baileys fitted with bike racks,no more info more than that.suggest you ring a dealer for a price on fitting one and they will yes or no.after saying that i do not like the idea for my self.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Yes I think when ordering a new Bailey you have to specify reinforced fixing points .
Disregard my above post , there is a E-mail from Bailey on another forum I'm a member of saying its not possible to fit a bike rack Got my wires crossed somewhere
Baileys apparently do not allow for any rear fixing bike rack in their design, Swift do however and build in specific fixing points.
This was one reason why we did not buy a Bailey and we have just had a Fiamma bike rack fitted to our Abbey GTS . Far better place to have the bikes than anywhere else especially on a 5 day journey to Spain.
the bailey i spotted passing our van at york site a few weeks ago was near new and had a large rack fitted to it.i remember saying to my lady look at that bailey.
