Hi all,
If your caravan aerial is a Status 530, you can get from Status a bung which fit’s the shaft hole, when removed. It cost about 90p (It is not the blanking plate)
Slacken off the hand nut on the underside of the roof, undo the 3 cable clips, unplug the RF cable from the booster, removal for me is via the skylight. Store it in the caravan for the winter months.
Cut the neck and stopper off an empty 2lt lemonade bottle and place over, the heater vent, tennis balls onto the gutters.
Get yourselves some telescopic paint roller extension handles; these will assist you putting the cover over the roof, no need for a step ladder? And only cost a few quid each.
