My son "forgot" to drain his Carver Cascade water heater on his 1996 Sterling caravan. He now has a steady stream of water coming from the heater inside the van when it is switched on. He was made redundant at Christmas and a new baby is due in June so a low cost solution is desperately needed. They cant sell as they would get no holidays without the van. Any suggestions very welcome.
Can they be repaired?
Yes nearly any issue with them can be repaired.
If he is lucky it could be no more than a blown "O" ring.
If he or you are reasonably DIY savvy they are easy to work on, being removed from outside the van.
There is a guy called "Gary" who comes on here who is in reality "Mr Mend-it" for these units and supplies everything from solid good advice through spares to doing the job.

I feel a 'Dom' moment coming on?!... you better give me a ring on the mobile tomorrow
Got to say though, I sat answering the last few days emails last night and they were all about frozen cascades, about eight I think and this makes nine! it's going to be busy this spring again!!
