Are you still watching the original episodes of Coronation Street given that its a black and white TV

Personally I think I would dump it and treat yourself to a new TV with digital tuner built in so that you can watch the newer episodes in colour! Seriously as has been said by the time you try and get a digi box and connectors its going cost the best part of a new TV.

Need to come into the 21st century and treat yourself to, say, an Avtex, with built in Freeview and DVD player. Getting little boxes, videos etc to link to your TV are all well and good but they tend to take up extra sockets. Then record films at home and put them onto DVD to take away to watch when Corrie isn't on.

The other alternative is of course, if you have a laptop, you can get a Freeview USB Dongle

im sure there are hundreds of people that will give you a colour black and white analogue tv free , then you just need to buy a free view box.

ive got one in my spare room . a 14inch panasonic. and ive also got one in my bedroom that i watch videos on when i go to bed. one of these we used to take in the caravan with us.

it is such a shame and  a watse because of the change over they were just being dumped. we dumped a perfectly good 24 inch tv

go to your tip and ask if you can have one there are hundreds at our tip and im sure lots that run very well .

i would have gladly given mine to some one rather than just throwing it away. but no one wants them now.

sorry but reading the other posts have you thought of buying a small cheap tv they are so cheap in tesco or asda use your vouchers in tesco towards one. this is what we did to take away with us . and i must say they are smaller to transport and lighter.

it is sad that we live in a throw away world now . and because i feel so bad about it i have a house full or rubbish , like saga mega drives and games consoles that have hundreds of games . what do people do with them our boys have moved out and left all this behind.
