After considering the Argos offer, I looked at my van chassis ('95) - no suitable pre-drilled holes! I then started wondering how the Al-Ko jack worked, and found this page on the Al-KO site - note the words "For all AL-KO chassis produced prior to 1991, but after 1980, bracket-mounting holes can be drilled BUT only in accordance with the Jack Operating Instructions."
So after a bit more searching, I found a link on Google by entering (exactly!) ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR AL-KO 2 TONNE SCISSOR JACK - note; if you just click on the link, you get "page not found"; if you click on the "Quick View" link, it will then open in Google Docs, where it shows all instructions and diagrams relating to any drilling etc required.
Evidently it is permitted (subject to specifications) to drill extra holes in the chassis....
However, after all that, as I already have a small bottle jack and a scissors jack, I don't think I'll bother with the Kojack....
