It all depends on the van type, season, stock, availability and popularity of the van, also don'f forget how much one is prepared to haggle. Have a price in mind when going to the dealer and play one off against the other. We bought our van new and got a discount of approx 2.5 k, however the down side was there was no starter kit included in that discount. With the market being so boyant it may be difficult to get a decent discount, because dealer know that for every one who secures a mega deal there will 3 or 4 that don't.
Happy hunting and don't loose out, be prepared to walk out even on what looks like a mega deal, you might just get a little more off. have a look around the dealership, see how many new vans they have, and how many appear to be sold. It can work both ways, poor sales big deals bigh commisions, good sales, big deals saleman being greedy. still high commisions.
Best of look.

Hi Trooper Man, If you are not in a rush for new van, I would wait and see how this recession goes, if it gets worse, the vans will come down in price, and remember the longer the dealer holds on to a van, it will deprecate even further, they could be left with a lot of stock, and no turnover, could find that they give all the extras as standard, and throw in a weeks stay at a site of your choice,as did a few dealers local to me did the last recession.
------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.
John
