I have the abbey stafford it has seating area to the right that turns to double bed with a bunk above, we never use the bunk above nor the seating area as we have put a double mattress in there it has sliding doors so we close it off during sleeping and during the day time,
it has small bathroom/shower room with toilet and sink ,opposit normal kitchen cooker sink fridge etc. then front is a very large seating area that has the pull out middle slats to make an extra large bed. 3 of my kids sleep there with plenty of room we often make the bed up and all sit on bed watching films (7 of us),
its a single axle caravan and weighs in at 1150 (thats off the top of my head as its too windy to go out and check) yould need to confirm this
i tow with a renault traffic mini bus and once i overcome loading problems it tows like a dream
the only down side is there is no power at rear end of van but im just in proces of fitting a 240v spur and a second battery with 12v supply there aswell
mines a 1992(i think) and i paid just over £1,000. for it last year
ive had very little minor problems that ive managed to fix/sort myself very limited diy skills.
now there seems to be 2 styles of the abbey stafford 5/6 berth the only differance i can see are to the rear is an extra window each side theese are very pointless windows some have them some dont.
now ive stated its advertized as a 5/6 berth 2 berth on rear bed 1 berth on bunk above (that we never use) 2-3 on front large bed 2+2 for me is a 4 so should be advertized as a 4/5 berth but due to size of front double bed they say it can sleep 3
hope this helps Jay
