Just booked our van in for its second service but first for us. They said remove all loose fitting carpets etc. Obviously this means empty the van of all our stuff but surely they don't mean seating cushions too do they?
no not everyone has the room. just a thought if they charge by the hour remove as much as possible because it takes much longer to remove and replace stuff in the van.they need to remove to test and repair.

------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Thanks for this, currently our caravan is on the drive empty of all its furnishings which are cluttering my spare room, so no problem to do this just wanted to be sure we would be doing the right thing!
My van is in storage in Cornwall and its serviced in Cornwall by a Bailey Service Agent. We remove as many items as we can but have never removed any furnishings. Perhaps we are lucky but we have never had any issues with marks and the service cost is priced very reasonably compared to mobile servicing.
