Most Caravan Club sites sell Calor gas and Camping Gaz  but they might not do all styles of bottles. I have heard that not all sell Calor Lite. We only use about 2 bottles a year so tend always to carry a full spare and tend to swap at home rather than wait until on site.

Take cash with you as they don't accept plastic for gas. Its a separate till and they have to take cash. It can be cheaper from your local dealer although I have found its swings and roundabouts. At times last year our local chap was cheaper but at Sandringham CC site last week they were cheaper.

Hi, I take 2 bottles one is butane the other propane as I am changing over to propane, and still have full bottle of butane to use up,Would take own gas with me as, as has been said the site may have run out of gas,(last thing you want to do is spend a good deal of time hunting down a bottle of gas when you should be out enjoying your self,

We always carry a full spare. As for prices, Ive never found two places that charge the same. Petrol Stations seem to be far more expensive than anywhere else

Petrol stations are expensive for everything - including petrol!!  I would but gas locally if possible - hardware store etc.  Our local fishing store are reasonable.
