the foam is realy expensive but you could pick up good second hand sets off ebay or a good salvage yard,i would see if you have a local yard near by give em a ring to see.as for the units i would say there much heavy'r .

I totally refurbished the inside and outside of my caravan. I painted the walls and cupboard surrounds, covered the doors with fablon, bought new foam for the seats (think it cost about £110 for 2 x 6' long pieces) and then I bought fabric off eBay and made the covers myself. Also made new curtains and fitted venetian blinds.
Wouldn't recommend using standard kitchen units as they will add a huge amount of weight to the van which could cause stability problems.
Recarpeting our old one made a huge difference. I also added black-out blinds from Wilkos of all places. They fitted very neatly behind the curtains. For the sloping front I ran curtain wire diagonaly down to hold them close to the window. Worked well.
We bought fabric to re-make the curtains but sold it on before the Wife got around to it.
here what we did with ours inside once it was wallpapperd the cupboards didnt look to bad just ahve to give the outside a lick of paint now. ther pic quilitys not brill it makes the walls look a little bubbly but there actuly not

There are a couple of photos of Holi (inside and out) in my gallery.
Sorry to hijack thread. Love the paint job. What sort of caravan is Holi, as we are after a small lightweight for our Peugeot 306 to tow.
Holi is a Fisher Holivan (hence her name!) and they were built in the 60s and 70s to be towed by the Mini.
They don't come along often, but they do show up on eBay occassionally. Portafold or Ansfold and the Thomson Mini Glen are all very small, lightweight vans too.
