We are picking up our new Sterling Eccles Ruby ( very excited ) in March and not sure what size television to buy to fit in the designated drop down unit.

Tesco have a good deal on at the mo for a 15.4 with dvd for £96 instead of £120 if you buy it from the store.

Just saves taking the one out of the bedroom everytime we take the van out!

Anyone had one fitted? Ta.

We have a Charisma 550 with the same cabinet and we use a 19inch screen TV. We got one with a built in DVD. We orginally used a Samsung in the cabinet but it was too tall so we now have a Hitachi which is just right. Given our van is the same layout as yours I think you will find a 15 inch screen a bit small.

We have the tesco tv you mention (or maybe its predisesor) and find it more than adequate.  To be honest most people adjust to the size of screen they have very quickly.  We used a 7 inch for years and didn't notice at all after a few minutes. I suppose it depends on your eyes and how far away you view from.  Personally I find large screens in a caravan intrusive!

We have just bought the Avtex 18.5" like Fiona above. We were planning on getting the 16" version until we actually saw them both and realised how small it actually is.

I would get the measurements of the space in which the tv needs to fit and then go and have a look at them to decide which best suits your needs.
