Evening All. having had a fun weekend out in our 'van, we got back and posted pictures and comments on various social networking websites. some of our friends have posted less than favourable comments in response, some even derogatory! the wife and i are above getting involved in slanging matches, but have decided that there should be a term we could use for those less enlightened souls that are not wise in the way of the caravan! so, any suggestions...? Ian
So they are not really friends at all are they? they are just people you know, real friends would be happy for you.

When I put pictures up of our trip in our van, everyone comments on it and its all derogatory.
Even my friends who camp with tents have something bad to say!
I just rise above it, as like you I'm too old in the tooth for all that, so I play along with it and just joke back to them.
I enjoy it and thats all that matters.

Hi Ian, They are Sad, with their Ground Hogg Day, where as Caravaners and campers, can hook up and off to some other location, meet new people, have a drink in a different pub, see interesting places, But most of all sit back and relax, and enjoy the rest from the mundane routine, now you have new name for them. ( Ground Hoggs).
------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.
