I have had a look at the Sparkplug Type earplugs which have a NRR of 35db , the ones that I currently use have a NRR of 32db so there maybe an advantage there. I have also just had a look at the snore store from Shirl250 and they have a pair of plugs with a NRR of 39db which I assume is even better. I will probably order some of these as I am writing this at 06:50 on a Sunday morning while SWMBO snores blissfully on upstairs. I guess it's a small price to pay for being looked after, he says crawlingly
I've ordered some wax ones - which I have been unable to get from Boots for years. I seem to remember they do block everything out so no good if you have to hear an alarm in the morning ! We used to wear them at motor cycle Grand Prix when camping at Donnington in 'the campsite from hell' - revving engines right by yer head !!!! Oh happy memories !!! Hope you get a snooze this afternoon
We have a Lunar Chiron with the end bathroom layout, and for us, it's perfect. See links for photo's of the seperate bathroom area and seperate shower.
We have an end washroom (with a seperate shower), side fixed bed (wardrobe opposite), then Kitchen with chest of draws and door opposite, with lounge at front. You can close a partition btween the double bed and kitchen area, but we generally don't bother. This layout is brilliant for us. I can't think we would go to a different layout now. Plenty of storeage under the double fixed bed, and closer to the axle too.
We went to Broad Lanes open day at Alcester today with an open mind and despite looking round every van on site twice we decided our Challenger 530 layout suits us just fine. Yes there were vans there we liked but every one had something we thought was better in our current van, be it drawer and cupboard space or just the end bathroom shower was to small. Still I bought another folding chair which with 10% discount was a bargain.
