The best tip i can give you is have a look at what your neighbours have done , after all some of them have been seasonals for years , also get friendly with a few and swap numbers so you can keep an eye on each others awnings etc when its blowing a houly after all many wardens are far to busy to worry about a semi collapsed awning .

Thanks for all your tips so far! Our seasonal is on a hardstanding with slate chips so not that bad even with our breathable groundsheet.

It is fully serviced and have made the connection to the drain using lengths of 32mm houshold waste pipes. These are supported and run through the tops of the screw in dog tethers. I have used pipe lagging on the mains water pipe.

The awning is fixed down with 16" tent pegs fabricated from steel rods with a t welded on near the top. The awning will rip before those buggers come out!!  I have left my number with a few of my neighbours. Thanks again
