next thing on the list before we collect caravan is a wheel lock, what make do you recommend, or website or store? thanks

Does the van have alloy wheels and an alko secure receiver? If so then an alko-secure lock is supposed to be a good deterrent. Not easy to put on, but can be had secondhand for less than £100.

When we bought our Sprite last year the Alloy wheels were part of the 'Diamond Pack' which was an extra. The AL-KO receiver was also part of the Diamond Pack. The lock itself was then extra again.

The diamond pack was bundled in with ours and we bought bothe locks second hand. The price new is nearly £500 for two. I managed to get two for £205.

Hacksaw Bob has got it right. Ask your insurance company for an approved list of wheel clamps and hitch locks, When you buy them, keep the receipts for proof of what and when you bought them.

The OP never said what chassis the wheel lock was for, if it's BPW as used by the Explorer Group, then the Alko one will not fit,you have to use the BPW one. The only other option is the Excalibur

We use a Milenco wheel clamp - you can buy them from Towsure for about £100

For an alko-secure lock you will need a receiver fitted which looks like the yellow thing in the picture below.

If you have the roven wheel as described above then the alko-secure lock must have an insert number 23.
