After perusing the net and nosing round loads of caravans at two local dealers today have decided a fixed bed 4 berth with corner bathroom is out as the front seating isnt long enough to use as two singles. So for us it has to be the twin dinette (but again front seating must be long enough to use as singles) or L shaped seating at the front and a transverse bed across the back like I've seen in a couple of 2005 Baileys and a Swift.

I like the look of the series 5 Pageant Auvergne and the weights right too. What other vans are out there with the same layout and under 1400kgs loaded?

fabulous it is the same layout as our bailey 500/5 and we like ours lots and do not want a change.good luck.

Have a look at the lightweight Lunars Savanne, ours has 6ft front singles, and a rear single dinette/bunks thats the full width of the caravan. The new Quasar 460 has a similar layout, or there are some within the Lunar ranges that have the rear double dinette, all be it in a much longer van. Are you looking to buy new or secondhand?

Most of the dealers include the MPTLM in the top part of the description so you could figure out which are too heavy & which are ok.
