We need instructions for our heater & we have tried Arc systems but i cant see any mention of our heater? Is there anyone that could tell us how to light it......i know it has the ignite button and a dial but not sure what order to press them etc!
------------- I hope caravanning is as much fun as camping!
Normally you press and hold the dial down , then press the ignitor button repeatedly until you can see the pilot light lit thro the small viewing window on the front of the heater , once you can see the pilot light keep holding the dial down for approx 20 seconds , then release the dial and the pilot light should stay lit now turn the dial round to get the required heat . Notes , it can take a few attempts to light the heater if it hasn't been used for a while . If this is a new to you caravan it would be a good idea to have it serviced or have the gas system checked before use . If the pilot light keeps going out when you release the dial either hold it for a bit longer or have the heater serviced .

------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Michael Swifts '3000' refers to the early Truma 3000 combi boiler!
The Carver 3000 is the same fire as the Carver SPL3002, both of which are infact the same as the current Truma 3002 fire.
So the SPL3002/3000 manual at the bottom of the list on my Website does the job
Tip and if you understand it?, download the manual and then print odd pages, now stack them, turn them over and around and put them back in your printer, now print the even pages.
Finally fold them all in half and you should now end up with an A5 booklet same as the original.
did you resolve this issue JK? I've just got a Swift Challenger 470/SE and am having the same issue. Nowt getting to the Carver SPL3002 heater? Its wired to the mains but there's no lecky and no gas? There's a rocker switch on the wall above that looks like a cut off for the lecky but my tester says its dead. All fuses seem fine?
The cooker/hob works on gas and is fine, the fridge won't ignite either (next job).
I've oiled all the bolts and screws around the heater and will remove it to trace the cabling and find the gas outlet as I can't seem to see one to hold a lighter too?
If anyone can help me here I'm all ears ;)
