The disadvantages of a winch are they have no stearage other than the force of human manpower. If you ever tried a motormover you would appreciate just how good they are at precise movement when steering into a tight space. the mover can also be used on site, your winch would be for home use only.
We have a Reich mover fitted to our caravan, and it was the best £800 worth (fully fitted) we ever spent during our 25yrs+ of caravanning, and we live on a busy road where its difficult to get the caravan onto our drive as we need to briefly hold up the traffic flow to do so.
