We decided yesterday that since we worked hard on the caravan last weekend we would have a quick overnighter this weekend (can't go for the whole weekend because of kids clubs sat am).  Thought we'd be spoiled for choice, OH was even fussy enough to suggest a pitch with aerial point so he could have a fiddle with his new Avtex tv er wrong!!  Everywhere is fully booked, I tried our usual, then another good one not too far away, then a few C&CC & CC sites - all full!  1 or 2 did say that as we only wanted the one night they couldn't let me know until the actual day but I'd need to be better organised than that - although its fair enough.

I've just managed to get the last hardstanding at a site I have been wanting to stay at for a while - I thought I was going to have to disappoint the children for a moment there!

Who knew so many people holidayed so early!!!

This will be the third weekend we have been away in the caravan since the start of Feb. We only booked this one last weekend though and it wasn't full then. As above the weather must have got everyone itchy ! Mind you it has rained every time ! No change this weekend either I think sadly !

We are going to Manor Wood its only about 25mins away but its in the countryside so it will feel like we are miles away!!  We normally head to the Plassey for short breaks but I've heard good things about this place.

We have been talking about going to Manor Wood for quite a while now,still havn't got around to going.  It is about half an hour from home and think it would make a great 'chill out weekend' placeto go.  Please let us know what you think of the place. It does sound great from reviews.

Jealous, wish i were going away this weekend.  Looking at going for our second trip of the season over the next month at some point but nothing booked yet.

Off to Burrs at the weekend for a couple of nights.Will do this for a couple more weekends so will be ready for easter and an 11 night stint in York.Cant bloody wait!!
