Well, we have had our van nearly 12 months now, My hubby was worried about towing so we opted for the Lunar Quasar 462 2 berth. Oh if only we had been brave enough to go for the fixed bed. We now realise what a hudge mistake we've made. Anyone have any ideas...........
I had my first van 8 weeks, the layout was just not how we imagined it would be. We went for a lighter one with fixed bunks at the back the 2nd time round and part exhanged our first one.
Just look out on ebay or at your local dealerships for part exing,
Could you sell it privately then buy the layout you like?
If you trade it in you'll lose a heck of a lot of money, my parents did exactly the same as you but in reverse, they bought a 1 year old Lunar island bed and hated it so after 1 holiday traded it back in for a 2 berth and lost over 2k.
Thanks for your responses. We have just reserved a Swift 550 2011. Went through dealer as advised but he quoted £1000,00 more than a different dealer, so went with cheaper deal. Yes, it's an expensive mistake to make, so be wary when deciding on a new van. We take delivery in 2 weeks. Thanks again.
