You do need two people. Ours, from Protec came with poles to assist in lifting the cover so it would help you if you have some. Maybe a ladder just to get it over fiddly bits like the aerial.

Don't cover the A frame first, just rest the cover on it so that it is free to move when lifting over the van.

To be honest its a tricky question to answer in words, a practical demonstration is so much better.

You definately need two people.  My van is a coachmanand therefore quite wide. I have found the easiest way is to fold the cover from both ends to the middle, with some steps place the folded cover across the centre of the van and using poles unfold outwards to the ends. I find this much easier than the suggested way of tucking the cover over the rear and pulling it forwards.  It may be my van or cover, but the long pull seems frougt with problems unless you have a completely clear roof, and who does these days!
