im about to go to the southwest as a warden and i cannot get any insurance to either tow the van to the site or insure the van whilst living in the van on site as a warden. as usual procedure the insurance offer me insurance for the year to get to site but as soon as i live in, the policy becomes void so it has to be cancelled you guessed a fifty pound cancallation fee plus one months premium to be paid i have contacted 15 companies today and all refuse insureance on the van. i called the ombudsman who passed me on to abi association of british insures who in turn passed me on to biba british insurace brokers association who passed me on to a broker who in turn doesnt do caravan insureance unless its commercial buidlings.

so i give up unless anyone knows better. where i can get insurance as a warden so it shows that the isurance companies are a scam buisnesses robbing us blind ive insured caravans for 25 years with no claims so they are legalised thieves. try to complain and your fobbed of and passed around till you give up and you waste half a day can anyone help please

try the CCClub as they use a lot of wardens and this question must have come up before for there wardens,failing this try NFU.once on tow you are covered for any damage from your car or caravan on your car insurance but not for the repair of your caravan.

most sites and clubs have to insure the wardens van on the sites policy as do the cccclub and ccclub but they will only do it for there own wardens not for others will try nfu now

Ones like these specialise in covering caravans that are lived in permanently.
