Purchased one of the 13 in 1 ladders off ideal world in December for £95 including delivery.

A couple of weeks later at the Shepton mallet outdoor leisure show the same ladders were on sale for £149.99!

A superb bit of kit very stable and makes roof cleaning of the van a "doddle".

The 4 section ladder came with the two metal "scaffold boards" in the £95 price.

Iv'e actually got my new telescopic ladder in it's carrying bag on the back seat of the car, and in the boot part my hose reel, telescopic brush, sponges, paint brushes, Fenwick's Caravan Cleaner & Bobby Dazzler etc. and off in the morning (Saturday) to clean the van down for the first time so it should look a lot cleaner than it is at the moment. I'll let you know how I get on with the telescopic ladder and whether it was worth the money as they were £30 off the recommended retail price, that's one of the reasons why I bought it. Anyway, we are off to Kingsbury Water Park on Monday for 4 nights to check everything's working okay and also do a bit of interior spring cleaning hopefully on Tuesday. During the meantime, thanks to everyone for your information, there has been some very interesting suggestions.

Make sure the ladder is long enough for your needs though Dayz as these are short in comparison to some that that are on the market. These won't reach the upstairs bedroom window but are high enough to reach the caravan roof for cleaning.

 It'll be ideal for working on stairway ceilings, amongst other things , and a friend has one which he lends to me . So I kind of know what it is , and at 2.9 metres it'll be plenty long enough , anyway it's ordered now ! (after reading your post)  so thanks again ,

Well, I have been to clean the caravan as planned and although the weather hasn't been as good at it has for the past few days I'm glad to say although it's been a bit dull and cloudy it didn't rain which enabled me to complete the task. The ladder was very useful to say the least, easy to transport and money well worth spent. I would have been rather ashamed to turn up on site in the state that it was so it's a good start to the season, I just hope we all get some fine warm weather to look forward to.
