I have been using my tiny Ryobi screwdriver today with a 1/2 " drive. Winding legs up and down and taking off the winter wheels. Put on the wheels, finished with a torque wrench. A little bit slower than a larger drill but very light and easy to use. I did not need to start or finish off the legs with the winders, only the screwdriver. Because it is so light weight I did not need a long extention.
The link is just to show the screwdriver, I did not buy mine from them.

I must say that Ryobi screwdriver does look very nice. I am very tempted.
Im going to look in a supermarket today so might see what they have to offer.
The Direct Power 14.4v seems a good buy too but they add on £5 postage http://www.screwfix.com/p/direct-power-dpd144ddh-14-4v-cordless-drill-driver/56873
I bought the 24 volt version of this last year for not very much more money. It goes like the clappers and holds its charge for a significant period. It came in a really nice carry case, with charger, spare battery and a right angled handle for optional fitting. I thought it was a good buy at under £30.00. Only problem is that it is a tad heavy and if you have arthritic joints in the hand, it can give you a bit of a jolt.
Don't bother with getting it delivered, we've got a Screwfix in Stevenage and another in Welwyn Garden City.
Went to Asda today, got the 14v Draper cordless drill, screw driver, £20 does the job and the charger charges my other black & decker drill battery as well, the charger had packed up on it
