Does anyone know of a caravan manufacturer that does a slightly longer fixed bed for people over 6ft?
My husband is 6ft 2", and we are looking to swap our present van. We have an idea of the layout we want but are struggling to get a longer bed without opting for two singles.

The Adria Adora with the island bed is the longest we've tried. Hubby is 6'4", we haven't found many that suit him.

the singles are 6ft 7in long and the doubles even longer

Yes it puts me off too. The thing is, if you are 6' 3" like me, you actually need about 6' 7 or 8 inches if there is a wall at each end. If the foot end is open then at least you can have your feet hanging off the end of the bed, but if there is an obstruction, you just wake up all night as you kick against it and bang you head against the other end.
So no fixed bed for us, and no end bathroom either - a waste of space when sites have excellent facilities these days.
But you just try asking a salesman for a caravan with no fixed bed or massive bathroom and they look at you like you are an alien - "Will not compute, will not compute. Fatal internal error!"
But I reckon that when you are spending thousands of pounds on something it gives you the right to get what best meets your needs, and you have the right to expect it to be 100% faultless, too.

We may have to go for the island bed/feet slightly over option. Don't like the beds where someone gets the wall side as it means disturbing each other as one climbs across in the middle of the night for a pee!! I appreciate we could drink less wine easing that problem, but that seems drastic!

im loving the look of that prestige 540 ul who makes that caravan ?,i cant do double beds against the wall either ,we had a double bed in our tabbert and it was massive we had to get a new mattress specially made ,son in law is 6ft 4 so done him well
