D'you know the minute I saw that fire and pan outside the van, I thought:
Man Make Fire. Man Cook.
If I ever want time out from cooking, I always suggest a BBQ as the men (if there's one about, LOL) always take over! LOL!!
Thinking of getting a little bucket BBQ for this year, but not sure I want to lug BBQ coals about with me! Unless anyone knows anything else (lighter in weight) I can use as fuel?
I must admit I refuse to BBQ sausages or burgers on my Beauclaire. But when in Stratford last year I called in a superstore (I think ASDA). Spoke to the butcher and he made me some Burgers 100% prime beef and about 40mm thick they were gorgeous - no fat and homemade onion and tomato pickle with thinly sliced onion and tomato on top in a Large crusty cob - we were stuffed.

We only have 3 rings, but a curry with a jar of sauce works well, spaghetti bolognaise, chicken tortilla wraps, pasta and rice dishes. Haven't used my slow cooker in the van as I fear it would stink the van out !
