I had one fitted on my old caravan , it worked well , i set mine slightly slopping on one side for rain run off and used rock pegs to hold the feet down , also try not to fully wind it out as i found this caused the canopy to loose tension / hang down .

Ps make sure you wind it fully back in so the little red tabs show ( think i've got that right ) , i do know if you don't store the legs back properly it won't fully wind back up to the caravan .
