Hi everyone does anyone tow a 12 ft caravan? if so would you like an awing for it. its an NR Capricorn including an annex. Its of no use to us anymore ive tried addvertising it but nobody wants it if anyone is interesed contact me at de1435 at gmail.com................Dave

Very nice of you Dave - but just wondering if you tried advertising it for sale here on UKCS ? You might have better luck on the appropriate section here than in local papers etc... just a thought.

I have tried selling several items on UKCS without any luck at all. I don't think many people read the 'Free Adverts' actually and there has been a few threads on here with the same feedback as well. Someone said that they had more luck via 'Preloved' and how right they were. I have sold 2 items successfully on 'Preloved' one being an awning and the other a wheel clamp.

That so Tango ? Wow that really surprises me. Maybe Dave might have some luck on Preloved then - though maybe he's tried already.  (?) Nice of him eto offer it for free though.

Could possibly the time of year was wrong when you tried before Dave, or just the luck of the draw. Anyway hope it finds a new home.

i have better luck selling on preloved than Ebay and also on the adverts on this site.

 keep your eye open for people with older vans  ours is a 1981 12 ft so there still about  hope you fined it a good home. I hate throwing out anything thats still good

this post was started in april 2011! the last post was in sept 2012, I would guess and say this awning has well and truly gone by now
