Hi everyone - we have a bailey indiana and our middle front window seems to have condensation in it - its not condensation but thats what it looks like. We think we should try to take the little bungs out and use a hairdryer to dry the window inside. However - we cannot get the bungs out. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to do this? We would then need to buy replacement bungs - are these available? Lastly - should we take the bungs out and use the hairdryer or should we be tackling the problem in another way.

I don't know about your van but there have been numerous posts about a similar problem caused not by condensation but by the panes being too close together and vibration rubbing the panes together with an effect similar to condensation.
I have levered the bungs out using a screwdriver when I did have condensation and they are sold in most good caravan accessory shops.

Hi,buttercupw, try opening window when bung is out, if possible let the sun warm up window to see if that will dry out inside of panes, If you use hairdryer make sure you use on very low heat and keep a distance of 6 inches to a foot away from glass, and use slow sweeping motion over the hole window, let the air in glass cool down, then if clear, replace the bung, should do the trick.

just back from a sunny but very cold Devon and our middle window at the front has got white spots on the inside of the glass. We did have condensation in all three windows but now the middle window is left with these marks. They were not there before our trip. Can anyone give any advice on how to get rid of them. They are confined to the middle of the window approx 15cm area in a smiley face shape.

The centre front Polyplastic windows on all the Bailey Series 7 range have similar problems, it may just take a bit longer for it to show up in some.

It is a well known design problem as you can see, ours was replaced free-of-charge with an upgraded one which is more curved on the outside and therefore there's a greater distance between the inside and the outside panes. That is what causes the 'misting' in the centre, the outside pane buckles in due to the pressure of air against it when you are driving, especially into a very strong headwind, this action abrades the inside resulting in very fine scratches not condensation. You shouldn't have any problem getting it replaced.
