Hi campers!!! that age old question I am sure, best tv aeriels, suggestions please.... thanks.... not the all singing, dancing expensive ones tho please, costa mint in vans so far.. trying to budget.. long story, involves, damp, dodgy dealer, fool and his money etc. dstill nothing ventured etc...

My father bought a simply digital aerial from a camping shop - about £26 he said and uses that with his freeview.

Its made his satelite system redundant but he pefers the little aerial - he just clamps it to a post

I just obtained an Image 610 aerial kit, this works brilliantly and clips onto the top of the caravan and a bracket that you stick to the side of the van. No drilling involved.

Hi cjh65,Caravan shops, Maplin, do a range of digital directional aerials,about 3 feet long, start around £35 now. may be worth a look.

Hi we are new to caravaning, we haven't picked ours up yet.  It's only a year 2000. and like you don't know what to do about an ariel.  Our telly has built in freeview, but daft question, how does the cable feed into the caravan.

Hopefully you'll have one of these somewhere if you look. Or you could fit one... or just feed it in thru a window or door.
