My father bought a simply digital aerial from a camping shop - about £26 he said and uses that with his freeview.
Its made his satelite system redundant but he pefers the little aerial - he just clamps it to a post

I just obtained an Image 610 aerial kit, this works brilliantly and clips onto the top of the caravan and a bracket that you stick to the side of the van. No drilling involved.

Hi cjh65,Caravan shops, Maplin, do a range of digital directional aerials, about 3 feet long, start around £35 now. may be worth a look.

Hopefully you'll have one of these somewhere if you look. Or you could fit one... or just feed it in thru a window or door.
I have one of these aerials and its never let me down yet. aerial
