Just to let people know and keep an eye out.

This may be a long shot but our friends had their Year old Swift conqueror 630 stolen from their garden in the middlesex area.  they live very close to the M25.

Just in case you are offered one at a bargain price Bear in mind it may be stolen.  It has had quite alot of modefications done inside to it to suit the owners, extra shelves etc.  Please if you see it contact the police.  This van was our friends retirement dream and it's now been shattered by some lowlife.  Thanks in advance!

That's dreadful, I feel so sorry for your friends, they must be absolutely devastated.

Why not contact Webby or Ratty on here with all the details then it can be added to the stolen unit database

This lady, Cheryl Dawes is fantastic at tracking down stolen caravans/camper vans etc. We got in touch with her when our camper van was stolen last year and although we didn't get ours back there are plenty of people who have. The e-mail address is : adriandawes1 at virgin.net. tell your neighbour to e-mail her straightaway with the details etc , give her your phone number and she'll help you all she can.

been thinking for some time that I should sticker mark the roof of the Van just as the Horse box and stock trailer is. cant be seen from road or ground but police Eye in the sky sees it. post code or car reg if they are on the ball or just routine they comp the tow car and roof details then question it.   been done for years in the stock trailer game.

Car Reg;  "police please check tow car details"   in 4 or 6 inch sticky letters on center of roof. is the accepted method.   very rare they look at the roof from above when nicking it.

Thats a cracking idea, i'd have never have thought of that!! we have an Alutec van that you can walk on the roof so it would be easy to do, Thanks for that i'm gonna do it!

no need to climb on the roof just remove the skylight and access thru the hole. if too big to fit, get a neighbours son or daughter to do in and direct from a upstairs window or off steps.  sign firms charge about £30 for the stickers to be made up

I thought all 2010 conquerors had the locate tracker fitted as standard it was taken off for 2011

My insurance company would not insure any twin axle without a tracker fitted
