Oooh those picture are great! - is it easy to put up? I should have also said its just me, my (bless her heart but shes useless!) 14 yr old dd and my eldest disabled dd so we are looking for something that's easy to put up.
Does it fit any caravan?
I would say it is one of the easiest to put up. After threading through the awning on to the awning rail, thread through and assemble as you go the big pole at the front, You can then angle it and it should stay in position while you add the roof supports. (Alternatively peg out the very front guy to keep up the large front pole while you put the roof poles in.
You can leave the sides and front zipped in, but we find it easier to zip them in once the main roof/pole structure is up. I always take a small set of folding steps to reach the roof poles, which then doubles a place to keep the drinks:
In my opinion it is possible for one person to put up the awning, but safer if you have someone about just to hold a pole up. I would say the same about all the other easy to errect lightweight awnings. Even our Sunncamp Ultima 390 and Outdoor Revolution Spacelight was possible to be put up by one person, but in my opinion the Kampa Fiesta is easier. It gets easier with practice though - the first time might not be an easy ride with any awning. I have found the Kampa Fiesta the most stable of all the lightweights we have had. We have sold on all our other lightweight awnings, but the Fiesta we have found to be by far the best lightweight, in our opinion.
Most lightweights/porch awnings will fir most vans, but it is always best to check. You will need to measure from the ground up to the awning rail at its highest point and then check this with the awning spec. (For a full awning the system is different)
There are two models of the Fiesta: the 350 (3.5 metres wide) and the 250 (2.5 metres wide) [- or is it a 270 at 2.7 metres wide?]. If you decide to go for one of these, you need to have at least 3.5 metres or 2.5 metres of straight awning rail at the highest point (depending on which model you go for. They are available in Blue, Red and Green.
Whatever awning you decide upon, go and have a look at them in the flesh first (before you go to the internet and order the one with the best price).
The 350 and the 250 both come out from the van 2.5 metres. We get bags of stuff in our Fiesta:
Room for the Cadac up the corner too.!!
