I'm looking for a mobile workshop to service our van in St Helens. Caravan Care Ltd, Warrington. Has anyone used this company? Can you recommmend them?

I've used Caravan Care Warrington several times and he does good job.

Nice guy who is happy to work on our old caravan and who doesnt try to get us to replace things which can easily be fixed - unlike all of the local service centres who are quite happy to get you to pay for stuff you really don't need.

Hi Tim and Cary, I used Caravan Care this Spring to service my Abbey Spectrum at home. Would highly recommend them, did a thorough job (he was happy for me to watch and he explained what he was doing), cost less than taking to my usual dealer, and didn't have the bother of taking and fetching it over 2 different weekends.

We had quite a lot of laughter about him trying to get me to buy a motor mover which I didn't, and felt no pressure just good old banter.

Biggest surprise was him showing me my tyres. My van is 2006 and all 4 tyres had badly cracked walls and one had a sidewall bulge. Absolutely no doubt they needed replacing (please check your older tyres carefully, a blow out will cost far more (and possibly not just financially) to put right than the price of some new tyres.

There aren't to many people I will happily allow to get on with working at my house without watching them like a hawk, but I felt happy enough to let him get on with the job.

We did have a good laugh though and he explained everything which is good. Give him a go.

Hi there,John Mackay serviced the fridge on my cherished vanmaster last year.The work,price and attitude of this bloke caused me to leave a reference for him on this site.I needed a beer/wine fridge for my awning at short notice.He was working in my area the following day,so he called back with a new beer fridge to lend me for the duration of my holiday even though the fridge on the van was fine.You will not go wrong using this company and if he lets you down I will personally pay for the service myself! By the way I have only met john once and I dont know him personally.
