I had an Airzones inflatable tent http://www.airzonesports.com/home.html for about 3 years and loved it. The easiest 6 berth tent to put up on your own. Just peg it out connect the 12V compressor and sit back with a beer. I even used it for week long camping holidays and never once had to add air and the pressure valves took care of the possibility of the booms going over pressure.
I haven't yet had the chance to see the Aireshelter awning, but the air poles don't look a patch on the Airzones.
Now, if someone designed a good looking awning using modern ripstop material with the Airzones booms then that would be an inflatable awing worth having.
