We bought our caravan in October and that was our first experience.
I am now trying to use it every couple of weekends and what a difference doing everything in the spring/summer.
I can leave the beds made up, I don't have to put the condensation absorbers everywhere, I can leave tins of food in there without fear of them freezing and going rusty (which happened over winter!). Don't need to take so many things each time we go - feels much more relaxing. Fetching the water without freezing hands and gale force winds blowing my bottles over is a delight! Longer days to enjoy the outdoors and a fresher airy feel to the caravan with the roof lights open. Its absolutely lovely!!
Having said that, there is also a lovely atmosphere of being cosy inside the caravan in the winter and will definitely keep going all year round as long as we can manage to.
Has anyone else got a favourite season or do you just love all of the year too?
just love been in the van when its frosty .
our first ever experience in caravanning was 3 years february and we went to sherwood forest holiday park.it was really frosty all the trees were white 24/7 for nearly 2 weeks.wed only booked a week but we stayed 2 it was that nice
