When we worked as caravan park wardens, there were quite a few who gave up caravanning at the end of the season, and left the van on site with the aim of selling it.  Try a park near to where you live and see whats on offer there - sometimes the owners are glad to let them go before the park owner asks them for another year's storage fee!

Just to say thanks all, we've spent the last few weekends viewing 'vans that were described as "dry" and "rot free" and but blatently weren't. Then earlier this week managed to go and look at one almost on our doorstep within hours of it appearing on ebay and although a bit more than we were planning to spend, really was in excellent condition and in our opinon worth it compared to the others we'd seen.

Collecting next week and then using the weekend after just up the road. Can't wait!

Congratulations!  It's a shame people have to waste so much time & fuel driving round to see vans that haven't been described honestly.  But the one you've found sounds like a gem.  Hope you enjoy a happy summer in it.
