Hi, we have an Al-ko AKS 1300 stabiliser on our current van; the new van we have on order comes with an AKS3004. Does anyone know if the Al-ko hitchlock we currently use on the 1300 will fit the 3004?

I suspect that it will not fit. I have just had a look on Alko's website and they advertise different hitchlocks for the two stabilisers.

Agreed, definately different locks for each stabiliser hitch-head. Although they look the same in photo on website, I know they're different as compared between father-in-laws unit and mine in the past.

Now you've suprised me, as there was a definate difference between my in-laws hitchlock and mine and his 1300 lock wouldn't fit my 3004 head at all; both original Alko units.
Possibly they've re-designed them at some point to be universal (although doesn't explain difference in part numbers and prices on Alko website), so perhaps best idea is for the Op to try fitting her existing lock onto new van when it arrives.
