Does it bug you if the van and awning are messy? i hate to see things lying around and out of place, i think i should propably be able to leave it after all i'm on holiday too but it bugs me. How do you cope? What storage do you use for organizing the awning? and how do you keep the wardrobe tidy with 1 rail?

We've got 3 of these that we use if we're away for a week or more: http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/redirect.asp?redir=http://www.towsure.com/product/Deluxe_Folding_Camping_Kitchen_Cubpoard_with_Worktop

The teens get one each for their clothes leaving enough room inside for ours & DS(6)s stuff.  The third one is used as extra storage for food or whatever.

We start the holiday with everything in it's place but it gradually deteriorates day by day until I can't stand it any more & have a mass tidy-up.

It's funny, my house is frequently VERY messy (right now, if someone were attempt to burgle me, when they looked through the windows they'd think we'd been done already!). When camping I hate mess. I can't stand it when the surfaces of the camper all have something on them and there's no room to put anything down. One of the things I got fed up with about tents was heaps of things all over the floor. I think it's because there's so much less space, the mess seems more oppressive!
